Hoperation Fund Leadership Opportunities (updated)

We are excited to announce that two Vice President (VP) positions are now available! If you are a Hoperation Fund member with a passion for leadership and making an impact, this is a great opportunity to take on a key role within our organization.

VP of Fundraising – Hoperation Fund leads a variety of meaningful initiatives, including fundraising events, donations, lectures, and community outreach. As the VP of Fundraising, you will play a vital role in supporting these efforts by planning and organizing fundraising activities that align with our mission. Your responsibilities will include leading fundraising campaigns, collaborating with the VP of Media Design to create promotional materials, and helping grow our capital. If you’re passionate about making an impact through creative fundraising and community engagement, we’d love to have you on our team!

Experience in sales—especially online sales or social selling—would be a big plus, as it can help bring fresh strategies to our fundraising efforts and expand our outreach.

Additional Expectations:

  • Attendance: The VP in this role should try to participate in all scheduled online and local in-person meetings and activities. Attendance rate will serve as a key performance indicator (KPI) for the annual performance review.

  • Hours per Week: This role requires a minimum commitment of 1.5 hours per week, not including time spent in meetings and activities.

  • Spread-the-Word: The VP is expected to actively promote the Hoperation Fund by introducing it to friends, classmates, club members, and other potential supporters.

VP of Charity – Hoperation Fund is committed to making a real difference through thoughtful giving and community engagement. As the Vice President of Charity, you’ll be at the heart of our philanthropic mission—ensuring that every contribution supports organizations that truly align with our values and goals. Your responsibilities will include researching potential nonprofit partners, evaluating and selecting charities to support, and building strong relationships with recipient organizations. If you're passionate about social impact and want to help direct meaningful change, we’d love to have you on our team!

Experience in nonprofit research, social impact initiatives, or community service would be a great asset in this role.
