In 2024, the Hoperation Fund introduced two fundraising initiatives: a public book club led by core members and a generative AI course conducted by the President, Olivia Zhang. These efforts successfully raised a total of $2,315.

Generative AI Course
As a fundraising activity, Olivia Zhang delivered a two-week lecture series on generative AI to middle school students from April to May 2024. The lectures covered using generative AI to create art and perform data analysis.

Join us from April to December as we unite book lovers in a reading journey that supports a great cause. Open to everyone, our club meets on the last Monday of each month to discuss insightful selections from investment, business, and technology. Through these gatherings, we not only expand our knowledge but also raise funds to make an impact. Be part of the story. Every book we explore contributes to our collective goal.

Investment Lectures
As a fundraising activity, Olivia Zhang organized and led a study group on personal finance and investing from January to November 2023. During the 11-month period, participants read classic books, listened to lectures, and engaged in lab/computer activities related to investing. All participants acquired fundamental knowledge of personal finance and stock investment, and mastered the basics of portfolio management skills.
