The Hoperation Fund is a student-led charitable investment fund that raises money, invests in the stock market, and donates the profits to nonprofits that are often overlooked—especially those working in human welfare, environmental protection, and education in underserved regions.
We also aim to close the gap between school and real life by helping students learn the essential skills schools often neglect—like saving, budgeting, and investing—so they can take charge of their financial future.

(2026. 1) Congratulations to another member (who also wishes to remain anonymous) on having 2 academic papers accepted to a flagship international AI conference! With an acceptance rate of about 34%, these achievements highlight the strong quality and significance of the work. So far, our members have had 3 papers accepted by flagship AI conferences in January!
(2026. 1) The Hoperation Fund February meeting will be held on February 1. In this meeting, we’re excited to invite Ms. Angela Liu to give a talk introducing venture capital. Ms. Liu has over 20 years of experience in investment, including more than a decade in venture capital. She has served as both a General Partner (GP) and a Limited Partner (LP) in multiple venture capital firms, giving her a comprehensive perspective on the industry from both the fund management and investor sides. In this talk, she will explain what venture capital is, how it works and why it matters.
